My take on the Lebron thing...

Get over it Cleveland. If anyone should take the blame for LeBron leaving, it's the upper management and president of the organization, not LeBron. Yeah, it was extra doing it the way he did it (and that was really silly when everyone had confirmed he was going to Miami)--BUT, the Cavs never put any money into building a team around Lebron. Dude was there for 7 years, and the one time he went to the finals, his team was marginal, at best.

The only team that I can recall making it to the finals that was that lame was AI with the 76ers. I'm not a big 'Bron fan, but, you have to spend money to win money. Kobe demanded a team, or he was going to roll...and somehow, Pau gets traded for Kwame Brown?! Odom was coming off the bench in the finals! Who did Lebron have as a solid PG, or SG when it came down to it? Big Z was his big man against Dwight? Word? His most consistent players were more energy than actual talent--Varejoa & Hickson (although Hickson does show a lot of potential)...so yeah.

Shaq at the end of his career is a poor attempt. And my man Antawn Jamison just didn't pan out like they expected, which shocked everyone. But, uh, Moe Williams, was a post-season bust--TWICE. The Cavs have always been tight on the dollar, which is why they never even made it to the finals before LeBron. Best players I can recall were Mark price and Brad Dougherty, and I couldn't stand either one of them (never liked the Cavs). Take LeBron away from the Cavs, and they are a 20--30 win team--period. That's not a LeBron issue, that's a "general-manager-needs-to-get-on-his-job" issue. That's a management call they made for 7 years.
