Water
So, yeah, ummm...my last night in Salt Lake City. Didn't really get to see anything landmark-ish, but I did get to see beautiful skies and mountains. My big brother is officially hitched now to a really sweet young lady named Oy. There were two ceremonies today, one was a traditional Thai ceremony, and the second was a traditional "Christian" ceremony. It was a nice day. Yesterday, at the cook out celebration, the families got together and mingled. I learned yet another way to say water. I figure if you wind up stranded in a foreign land and thirsty, "water" would be important to know.
That's English= water
Spanish= agua (I feel like I spelled that wrong...it's been so long since Spanish class)
French= Au (I so don't know if I did that right, so I'll switch to phonetic spellings
Russian= Voda
Amharak (Ethiopian)= Wuha Like Woo-Ha I got ya all in check
and now
Thai= Nam Pow (Pure Water)
It's all about the growing process, nah'mean?
Anyway...it's been fun. Can't wait to get back and get on the grind.
